Experience     2014-present.   High School Chair, Monadnock Waldorf High-School, Keene, NH.
Responsible for leading the high school section, faculty and administrative staff. Oversee high school faculty and student development, budgetary and finance work, and parent involvement. Work in close coordination with the leadership of school as a whole entity K-12.

2012-present.   Director of Arts Program, Monadnock Waldorf High-School, Keene, NH. 

Teaching and Overseeing Arts Curriculum – 9th through 12th Grade. Responsible for studio arts curriculum programing, schedule, staffing and budget. Manage all arts material purchases and inventory. Assist in many other functions of school as core faculty member. Student adviser.

2012 – 2014.   Founding Partner, Designer & Creative Director, Cumulus Design Group, NH & TX.

  • Product designer, art direction, marketing, PR and sales liaison for Cumulus, a collaboration of award winning entrepreneurs, designers and manufacturers bringing creative opportunities, solutions and experience to professional design relationships within the world of architectural surfaces.
  • Licensed to develop, design, market and distribute the Eva Zeisel Tile Collection. Eva considered all of her architectural designs to be living features within space. To develop and bring her designs for sculptural tile and dimensional surfaces into being, Eva chose my partner & I to collaborate and design the collection with her, from 2009 til her death in 2011 at the age of 105.

2009 – Present.   Freelance Designer & Strategic Consultant, Keene, NH.

  • Tile Designer for Hospitality and Residential Projects, specializing in direct sourcing and sales of distinctive handcrafted wall and floor coverings for hospitality and residential projects.
  • Strategic Consultant for small business vision work, planning and development
  • Creative design, art direction and writing for websites, marketing collateral and branding.

 

1990 – 2011.   Co-Founder, CEO and Lead Designer, Trikeenan Tileworks, NH.

  • Trikeenan is a US Manufacturer of quality handcrafted ceramic tile and glazed brick, utilizing both age-old handmade tile production processes and modernized automated production methods including extrusion, ram pressing, periodic and roller hearth firing methods. All tile designs and colours were created and engineered by my partner and myself.
  • CEO of $2.5m organization. Reported to Board of Directors and presided over all management personnel governing full operations, fiscal health, legal standing, and HR. Ran two US factories (NH & NY) and operated a retail design showroom with 45 skilled artisans.
  • Marketed and managed sales to high end institutional, commercial, hospitality and residential projects world-wide; developed and maintained relationships with architects, designers and over 125 wholesale dealer accounts; designed tile surfaces and specifications for and managed national accounts such as Starbucks and Whole Foods Markets.
